New York State Police investigators out of East Meadow are seeking the public’s assistance in tracking down a wanted man who was charged with driving while intoxicated and failed to show up for court proceedings to respond to the charge.
Investigators said that Herbert Gibson, 36, is wanted by the New York State Police and Nassau County First District Court following a DWI charge he received on Aug. 25, 2013. A bench warrant was issued for his arrest on Dec. 1 the following year.
Gibson has been described as a 5-foot-9 African American weighing approximately 150 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts, or who recognizes him, has been asked to contact New York State Police investigators by calling (631) 756-3300 or emailing CrimeTip@troopers.ny.gov.
